Happy Friday eve! I’m currently watching Stranger Things with my husband as I edit this post and we only just started season 1.
I love this oasis print for the summer and I wore the dress twice during the long weekend. Madewell doesn’t offer this dress in petite sizes but size XXS fit me well. It was a bit loose in the waist but you can tighten the sash for a closer fit. The measurements of size XXS are as follows: 34″ chest (measured pit to pit), 29.5″ empire waist, 42″ total length. I just noticed that this dress available in limited sizes and it’s $55.99 after you apply the code VERYRARE for an extra 30% off sale styles. I ordered the dress when it was on sale for $79.99 so I wish I waited but I am not familiar with Madewell’s sale cycle. I’ll have to see if they can do a price adjustment.

These slide sandals run true to size. The band feels slightly narrow across the tops of my feet but I hope they’ll stretch with wear due to the material. I wonder if going up half a size would help but I’m afraid the length of the sole would be too long.

These slingback mules fit true to size. I wish I wasn’t in such a hurry to buy and wear them since the strap in the back of the right pair is looser than the left pair. If you like this style it’s available in many colors through Nordstrom Rack and it’s also available in a leopard print at Nordstrom.

These cork sandals fit true to size. I wore them the other day when it was raining heavily and they dried without any stains. The straps don’t dig into my feet and the block heel makes them stable for walking around the city.

This navy blue dress fits true to size. It’s fully lined and not sheer and it’s a modest length and cut that’s appropriate for work. Size 0P measurements: 32″ chest (measured pit to pit), 24″ waist unstretched (stretches easily to 32″), 35.5″ total length.

I love the side button detail of this dress and there is a small slit on the same side as the buttons. I ordered two sizes but I prefer my usual size 0P. The shoulders are narrow so you may want to size up for comfort if you have broader shoulders or a larger chest. Size 0P measurements: 13″ across the shoulder seams, 31.5″ chest (measured pit to pit) 28″ at the empire waist, 35″ total length. In comparison size 2P measured: 13.5″ across the shoulder seams, 32.5″ chest (measured pit to pit), 28.5″ at the empire waist, 36″ total length. Update 7/14: I’m returning this dress since my friend said it makes me look wide.

This polka dot dress is a new arrival and it runs true to size. If you like the color and print it’s also available as a skirt and blouse.

This ribbed dress runs true to size but the seam of the left side wasn’t smooth unlike the right side. The buttons are functional but you can only unbutton the first button so that you have to pull the dress on over your head. The material has a nice weight to it.

This dress runs true to size. I previously tried on size XS regular in this post and I ordered my usual size XSP for a better fit. Size XSP measurements: 34″ chest (measured pit to pit), 29.5″ waist, 33″ total length. If you don’t like the sash tied in the front you can also tie the two ends as a cute bow in the back as seen here in this style tip shared by @loveloft_northernnj.

I wanted this burgundy jumpsuit when it was a new arrival but I never got around to ordering it. Size SP is a looser fit on me and there’s too much material at the hips in this size for it to be flattering. I would need my usual size XSP for the best fit.

I received a request to try on this black pleated skirt. Size XXSP has a 26″ waistband (unstretched) and 27.5″ total length. The skirt is unlined so it can be sheer in strong sunlight. You can see my hand in this closeup clip. The material is 65% polyester and 35% rayon. The store styled it with the popular covered button cami in black for a tonal look. However, I noticed that the skirt has a matching pleated swing tank.
