Happy Saturday! My husband got a shih tzu puppy named Ralphie (follow if you love puppies) last Sunday so we’ve been enjoying every minute with him. Our hearts are so full! He is my very first dog so if you have any tips or small dog/puppy recommendations then I’m all ears.

TRY-ONS & REVIEWS

For size reference I’m 5′ 2.5″ and I’m currently 111 pounds. I’m usually size XS petite in tops and 0/25 petite in pants and jeans. I received this blouse from last week’s online order and it’s similar to a past season LOFT utility blouse that I had in off white years ago. My usual size is a flowy fit.

Click here to see a closeup of the black and gray thin stripes up close. This dress has a really flattering shape and I tried on a size up from my usual since I didn’t want the bust to be too snug. I love that this dress has pockets. The dress is a little shorter since it hits a few inches above my knees.

I couldn’t find this dress to try in petites but the regular missy size is a good modest length and I like that it has pockets. It fits true to size (size 00 regular which is an online only size would be a better fit) but I didn’t love the dress on me. The arm holes are also more generous on me in the regular missy size as seen in the video clip I linked.

This dotted top was on my wish list and I found XS regular to try. It fits true to size but I would need XXS regular or XS petite for a better fit. I don’t believe it was offered in petites though but it’s available in PLUS here. The top is 100% polyester and fully lined so it’s not too sheer. It’s currently sold out online but sizes can pop back in stock if people return it.

This thin tee is really cute with the ruffles, dots and sheer collar and sleeves. My usual size XSP fit me well.

I was curious about this shirtdress and it’s fully lined but the fit is very shapeless on me even with the tie waist belt. You may also like this striped dolman cap sleeve shirt I reviewed here. I’m curious about this long sleeve striped belted shirtdress.

This top is gorgeous with the twist detail and pleats. I’m happy to see this style back since this plaid side twist blouse (styled here) was one of my favorite tops from last year. I couldn’t find my usual size 0P to try and the chest of size 2P was too loose on my smaller bust (I wear size 32A or 34AA in petite bras).

I love this brown polka dot dress and I tried it on in a size down but my usual size 0P is a better fit. The chest of size 00P is really tight on me. If I get this dress I’ll be waiting for a better sale on sale items. It’s sleeveless so the opportunity to wear it without a layer is quickly passing.
