Happy weekend! I love this striped tee and the short, boxy fit looks good with a front tuck. I wore the tee with these white shorts I got last weekend. I decided to keep my usual size and they look a bit more wrinkled after sitting in the car and after we had dinner. I’m still debating if I should keep them in the black color as well. Do you shop the summer end of season sales for the next year or are you shopping for fall?

I wore this black top to work the other day but by the end of the day I noticed that the top had pilled on the side where my purse had rubbed against it. The pilling can be removed with a sweater shaver but I am returning the grey color for this reason.

This grey cowl neck top was one of my favorite finds this week. I tried on size XS regular which is a petite friendly length and fit but I want to order size XXS regular for a closer fit.

Size 00P fits like my usual size 0P. The wrap style allows me to size down without any discomfort. There’s a hidden snap button to make the neckline more modest. Unlike many of their other wrap dresses this one is 100% polyester so it should wash well. The darker floral print will transition well into the fall.
I was looking for new arrivals in store but I didn’t find too many of the items that I was looking for.

This duster cardigan runs true to size. The material is thinner and the looser weave as seen here means you should be careful with your nails, ring and other sharp objects in order to avoid snags.

This ivory/off white top is really cute and fully lined so that it’s not too sheer. My usual size was snug across my chest (I take size 32A in petite bras). If you have a larger chest you may need to size up and/or try the regular missy size for extra length. The petite sizes are currently fully stocked.

I’ve been searching this chambray top since it first came out. I missed out on petite sizes and I found my usual size XSP to try at LOFT Chestnut Hill Mall but the bust darts were still too loose on my small chest.

I also found these frayed jeans in a size up since they ran snug per my previous review. Size 26/2P fits like my usual size 25/0P.

These jeans are very petite friendly in the short inseam. Usually a 25″ inseam is above my ankle bone and these are a few inches shorter than that. The fabric is also very stretchy and slimming with a narrow ankle opening. They’re a bit shorter than I prefer so I passed on them.

I like this striped sweater for the fall transition and size SP is a relaxed fit. I also tried on these frayed hem jeans but my usual size 25P was too snug as seen here so I ordered a size up and it should arrive next week. I like the wash and lack of distressed details. The petite inseam hits just above my ankle. I also tried on this utility jacket but my usual size was too loose and boxy as seen here.

These jeans have a good stretch to them but there was too much material at the crotch as seen here when I sit down. The measurements of size 25 ankle are as follows: 9″ rise, 26″ waist, 32″ hips, 9″ ankle opening, 26.25″ inseam. The material is 87% cotton, 12% elasterell-p, 1% elastane.

I’ve been looking for some good basics and aside from the striped tee at the beginning of this post I also ordered this boxy white tee. It looks cute with a front tuck and it’s not too sheer for a white tee. I ordered the mockneck version (in the black and white stripes) as well but the sleeves were a lot looser although the body fit the same as the above white tee.
I also ordered their drape trench coat in size XXS regular but it wasn’t petite friendly and the overall length was too long and past my knees (apologies for the lack of pictures or video clip). It’s best for someone 5’4″ and taller. The jacket arrived very wrinkled but I didn’t bother to take the time to steam it out since it didn’t fit me well.
