Happy Saturday! I’m back with another post and this cherry trench is one of my favorite recent purchases. I’m glad I ordered it when I did since petite sizes sold out quickly.

This short trench coat is back for the late summer and fall in this yellow plume color. It has functional pockets and a back vent for a swingy, boxy cropped fit. I previously reviewed the light khaki color here. I took size XXSP for a closer fit but I typically wear size XSP. Size XXSP measurements are as follows: 13″ shoulders, 34″ chest, 9.5″ wrists, 11″ upper arm circumference, 22.75″ sleeve length, 35.5″ along the bottom hem and 20″ total length.

I love the three button detail on these jeans which were gifted from Ann Taylor. These jeans were on my wish list since I wanted to try this season’s version with the sculpting pockets. I noticed that dye for this dark rinse does bleed so I highly recommend washing them a few times to prevent color transfer on your hands, clothes, light colored bags and furniture. The sculpting pockets hold you in and the material has a good stretch to them. Size 25/0P has a 26″ waist, 26″ inseam and 9″ ankle opening. I tried on another pair of these jeans in store as well and for both pairs the third (last) button can be difficult to fasten and even more difficult to unbutton since the stitching and material is thickest and stiff in the middle. Note that I didn’t have the same issue with the jet black wash I reviewed further below.

These slingback pumps have a flattering silhouette, they run true to size and the 3″ heels are a comfortable height. The baked pecan color is a beautiful dark brown and I wish these came in a light neutral color as well.

These sandals run a half size smaller. I originally saw them at Lord & Taylor’s shoe sale section but they didn’t have my size and my usual size 7 was snug so I ordered them through Amazon. The suede isn’t as plush as the pair of Sam Edelman Odila sandals that I have in black and golden caramel suede but I like the look of the thin, criss-cross straps. With summer quickly coming to a close I shouldn’t be adding another pair of sandals to my shoe collection.

I also tried on the sculpting pocket jeans in black and as mentioned above the black pair’s inseam is slightly longer so that it bunches just a little big above my ankles. I found that they run true to size.

I tried on this blouse in store at Lord & Taylor but I was able to get the associate to match the price on Walmart’s site during last week’s sale. Size XS is a bit loose on me but the top wasn’t available in a smaller size. I love the pretty lace details as seen here. I had originally ordered a huge haul that included this sleeveless white blouse with ruffles and a cute bow but size XS was even more generous.
I also tried on the cute bell sleeve striped top hanging behind me but size XS was a bit too loose.

I thought the bow on this top was really cute but the material is really thin and clingy so it shows every little bump. It would tuck in nicely to pants and skirts though.

This lightweight cardigan comes in a few neutral colors and it runs true to size for a relaxed fit. The top underneath is longer but I want to try size XXS regular for the slightly longer length.

If you’re looking for a cropped denim jacket then you may want to check out this jacket. My usual size XSP fit me well and it hit the start of my hips. I love the fit of LOFT denim jackets but I do wish that the buttons did not have the LOFT logo stamped on them.

I tried on these slim pocket jeans again but this time I tried them on in my usual size. The waist fits snug due to the slim pocket design and the pant legs are narrow so I will have to pass on them. The inseam is also slightly longer so it bunches a little at my ankles as seen here.

I was curious about this windowpane blouse and my local store kindly grabbed it from out back for me when I couldn’t find out out on the floor. Size XS regular was too wide on me but I noticed the shoulders/sleeves run narrow. When I move my shoulders I can feel the material pull against my upper arms as seen here. The top is fully lined so it’s not too sheer. These wide leg pants are so cute and they fit true to size. I love the idea of pants but I did not like how these look from behind as seen here.

I received size XXS in this soft grey top but from what I can tell it fits just like size XS which I reviewed in this previous post.
