Happy Friday! I ordered this blouse on a whim due to a recent stacking sale that I shared on the Sale Alerts page and on Instagram stories the other day when it was 65% off retail. Size XXS regular is a looser fit on me but I like the unique print (click here to see a close up). It is navy stripes, with white dots against light pink.

REVIEWS
For size reference I’m 5′ 2.5″ and currently 111 pounds. I’m usually size XS petite in tops and 0/25 petite in pants and jeans. I typically share the link to a short video clip below each image (the same video clips I share in my Instagram stories swipe ups during sales). My Pinterest is also up to date if you prefer a more visual catalog of my reviews. You can also check out my other reviews organized by retailer here.
Ann Taylor Trench Coat, size XXSP | Sofia Jeans Rosa Curvy Destructed High Waist Ankle Jean, size 0 (featured here) | Ann Taylor Patricia Leopard Print Haircalf Bow Flats (true to size) | Click here, here, here and here to view the clips from my try-on
I ordered this trench coat in two sizes to try and I found that it does run larger which makes it ideal for layering. If you’re looking for a close fitting trench this isn’t it and you can also try sizing down. I prefer size XXSP but the difference between size XXSP and XSP isn’t a lot. If you compare the measurements XXSP is slimmer and only a little bit shorter in the overall length.
The measurements of size XXSP are as follows:
13″ upper arm circumference
14″ shoulders
35″ chest
35″ waist
22.75″ sleeve length
34″ total length
The measurements of size XSP are as follows:
13″ upper arm circumference
14.5″ shoulders
36″ chest
37″ waist
22.75″ sleeve length
34.5″ total length

These leopard flats run true to size and I like the minimalist bow detail. It also comes in black and navy here.
Ann Taylor Brushed Crew Neck Sweater, size XSP | Click here and here to view the clips from my try-on
This sweater is really soft and I ordered it in both XSP (pictured above) and XS regular (pictured below). Interestingly enough petites fits longer than the regular missy sizes as seen here when I laid both sizes on top of one another for comparison.

Ann Taylor Puff Sleeve Top, size XXS regular | Click here to view the clip from my try-on
This olive top is more fitted through the waist and hips in my usual size XXS regular. Note that the buttons on the sleeves are not functional but the material has some stretch so the cuffs easily fit over my wrists.
Ann Taylor Scallop Trim Popover, size XXS regular | Click here and here to view the clips from my try-on
I thought the scallop details on this blouse were very pretty so I ordered it to try but my usual size XXS regular was too loose all over. You may want to size down for a better fit.
Ann Taylor Floral Camp Shirt, size XXSP | Click here and here to view the clips from my try-on
I though this floral print was really pretty in the online stock image so I ordered it to try. In person I didn’t love it on me and I have plenty of other camp shirts so I ended up returning it. I have a smaller chest (34AA in petite bras) so I always take one size down for a closer fit in the camp shirts.
Ann Taylor Striped Mixed Media Shell, size XSP | Click here and here to view the clips from my try-on
I had a chance to wear and wash this shell and I was surprised that it washed well despite the 100% rayon material in the back. I didn’t experience any shrinking or loss of length. My usual size XSP fit me well for a relaxed fit. It’s also available in solid colors here.
Ann Taylor Mixed Stitch Open Coatigan, size XSP | Soludos Ibiza Classic Sneakers (review here) | Click here to view a clip from my try-on
I had high hopes for this coatigan but I didn’t like the brown color in person since it was nothing like their online stock image. It’s a thicker material so it could work as a jacket if you live in warmer clients with mild winters. I also though the larger collar was very unflattering on me. It is an oversized fit so my usual size XSP was very shapeless. Size XXSP fit like size XSP as seen here.
Ann Taylor Floral Pleated Flare Dress, size 0P | Click here and here to view the clip from my try-on
This floral dress is really pretty and it also comes in classic black. My usual size 0P was loose and the back of the dress has too much material above the waistband as seen here. I didn’t get a chance to try on size 00P for comparison.
LOFT Turtleneck Poncho Sweater, size XSP | LOFT Modern High Waist Slim Pocket Skinny Jeans in Staple Dark Indigo Wash, size 27/4P (review here, review of size 26/2P here) | Click here to view the clip from my try-on
My usual size XSP fit me well and I also have this poncho in camel which I reviewed here. Last year the below speckled cardigan was one of my most worn items and I shamelessly wore it on repeat so I was excited to see it back again this season.

LOFT Hoodie Sweater, size XSP | Click here to view the clip from my try-on
This sweater is so soft and despite containing wool it didn’t feel too itchy. Petites is a bit short on me for the sleeve length so I would like to try the missy size for comparison.
LOFT Leopard Print Crossover Back Utility Blouse, size XSP | Click here to view the clip from my try-on
This leopard print blouse has a shorter overall length especially in the sleeves. Size XSP fits more like size XXSP especially through the shoulders and chest. I would need to try this blouse in the regular missy size for comparison. It’s also available as a cardigan and scarf:
LOFT Shawl Collar Pocket Open Cardigan, size XSP | Click here to view the clip from my try-on
This popular shawl collar cardigan is back and I tried on my usual size XSP in both grey and black. I noticed that the material and drape looks and feels better in the grey color pictured above versus the black color pictured below. The black color is also a bit longer than the grey color so there is a bit of inconsistency in the fit between colors similar to last year. If you like this style cardigan it’s also available in camel with thick white stripes here.

LOFT Vine Pintucked Tie Neck Tunic Blouse, size XXSP | Click here and here to view the clips from my try-on
This vine print blouse fits true to size to slightly larger. I tried on size XXSP which fits like my usual size XSP but the sleeves are a bit shorter than I prefer. This blouse is also available in other colors:
LOFT Garden Pleated Cuff Blouse, size XSP | Click here to view the clip from my try-on
The floral print on this blouse is really pretty especially at the cuffs where the flowers are clustered together. I didn’t love it on me untucked but it would look cute tucked into pants and skirts.
J.Crew Juliette collarless sweater-blazer, size XXS (similar here) | Click here to view a clip from my try-on
If you’re looking for a well made sweater blazer I would recommend this one and it comes in a lot of other colors too. Size XXS is a looser fit on me which means that it will layer comfortably with longer sleeves once it gets colder.
Banana Republic Vegan Suede Moto Jacket, size XS petite | Click here and here to view the clips from my try-on
I tried on this moto jacket in the tan color but I also ordered the olive color to try since it was on sale for $112.50 as a Cardmember. Size XS petite fit me well with room to layer. I also ordered these cognac tall boots in my size after trying on size 6.5 in store. I have slim calves (12.75″) so there is a bit of a gap but I wanted to try them on at home as well. My Banana Republic order should arrive next week and I can’t wait to try the olive color since that color was so popular that it had sold out in my size in store.
RALPHIE REVIEWS
BuddyTastic Pet Sling with Adjustable Strap | Lou & Grey Sleeveless Cowl Top, size XXS regular (review here, review of size XS here) | Sofia Jeans Rosa Curvy Destructed High Waist Ankle Jean, size 0 (featured here) | Time and Tru Fashion Sneaker With Leopard Stripe (true to size)| Click here to view a clip from my try-on
I originally ordered the Tomkas pet sling but the material is very stretchy and the strap isn’t adjustable so that sling is a better fit for my husband who is 5’11”. I ended up ordering this BuddyTastic sling for myself. The material doesn’t sag where Ralphie sits/snuggles and the strap is adjustable making it a more comfortable drop length for me. Ralphie is about 5.5 pounds right now.
Puppia Authentic Junior Harness B, size S | Click here and here to see it on Ralphie while he moves around
I’ve been struggling to find a harness that fits Ralphie comfortably (so far I’ve ordered 9 through Amazon). The harness that fits him the best is a very simple one by Lupine that’s no frills but he hates it and he struggles and nips at us when we try to put it on. I just received this plaid harness by Puppia and I had originally ordered size M based on the online reviews which was too loose around his body. I then reordered size S which is the perfect fit across his chest right now. Ralphie got his first haircut yesterday (the groomer shaved him instead of doing a trim) so he doesn’t have extra fur which would have filled in the arm holes and neck opening better. Size M is 17.5″ end to end (15″ circumference when the velcro is secured). Size S is 14.5″ end to end (fits a 12″ chest when the velcro is secured). For size reference, Ralphie is a Shih Tzu puppy and he’s currently 5.5 pounds with a 8″ neck and 12.5″ chest (based on the length of his current Lupine collar and harness). He has a small neck and short torso so many of the other harnesses I’ve tried are too long.
Gen7Pets Regal Plus Pet Stroller in Starry Night Gray (also available on Amazon and Chewy.com) | Scoop Slouchy Turtleneck Sweater, size XS (featured here) | Sofia Jeans Rosa Curvy Destructed High Waist Ankle Jean, size 0 (featured here) | Time and Tru Fashion Sneaker With Leopard Stripe (true to size, featured here)
Ralphie can’t take walks for very long without getting tired and wheezy (he’s brachycephalic) so I got this compact stroller so that we could take him out and about. The stroller is lightweight and it folds down for easy storage. Click here for a video clip review of the stroller and to see what he looks like inside it. The handles are not adjustable but they’re a comfortable height for me (I’m 5′ 2.5″) and my husband who is 5’11”.
You can check out more of Ralphie’s things on this dedicated page.
Thanks for stopping by!
I ordered the brown coatigan from AT too and the color is so ugly, it’s like dirt! Nothing like the golden color online. XSP was huge and unflattering, I’m so sad. I ordered black too which hasn’t come yet but I’m sure it won’t work either due to sizing issues.

Hi Debbie, I ordered the black color too and I couldn’t get over the large collar which doesn’t look flattering against my small shoulders. I didn’t even bother to share more photos of the black color since I already took try-ons for the brown color.
Yes, the black was bad too! I returned it. I did however just order both colors of the faux suede moto jacket. It looks great on you!
Ooh, thanks so much for reviewing the turtleneck poncho sweater! I was afraid it would totally engulf a petite person but it looks great on you. I’m grateful to have someone similar to me in size to help decide on things before buying 🙂

My pleasure, Lauren! I hope you love the poncho! I wanted to order the black poncho and then it had already sold out in my size online. I’ll be keeping tabs on it.
