Ralphie making himself comfy on my flatlay
Happy Monday! I’m back with some quick reviews on some items I tried on at LOFT this weekend. I also placed two online orders so I hope I receive everything later this week so that I can decide what to keep. Today is the last day to get 40% off+ an extra 10% off your purchase at LOFT with the code FALLFEST10. You can also save an extra 50% off sale styles. Sale ends 11/15 at 3AM ET. Check out all of the steals here. Shop my sales picks here.
FITTING ROOM REVIEWS
For size reference I’m 5′ 2.5″ and currently 108 pounds. I’m usually size XS petite in tops and 0/25 petite in pants and jeans. I typically share the link to a short video clip below each image (the same video clips I share in my Instagram stories swipe ups during sales). My Pinterest is also up to date if you prefer a more visual catalog of my reviews. You can also check out my other reviews organized by retailer here.

From left to right, I took home items 2, 3 and 6 and I had ordered item number 4 in my first online order but it still hasn’t shipped out yet.
LOFT Pointelle Ribbed Sweater, size XS regular | Similar jeans here | Exact flats here (old/sold out), similar flats here | Click here to view the clip from my try-on
This lightweight sweater is really soft and size XS regular is a relaxed longer fit on me. I bought it before reading the online reviews as there are some concerns about possible pilling. I will have to wear it soon and report back regarding this point.
LOFT Mock Neck Sweater, size SP | Click here to view the clip from my try-on
I like a good mock neck sweater and this deep toffee heather color caught my eye in store. I grabbed two sizes to try but I prefer going up one size for a more relaxed fit. If you prefer a more fitted look then you should stick with your usual size. My usual size XSP is tighter at the hips so it shows the bumps from my jeans as shown in the below photo. The sweater is 28% merino wool but it didn’t feel too itchy so I am able to tolerate it without an additional layer underneath. If you like rainbow speckles then you may like this version o the mock neck sweater.

LOFT Funnel Neck Sweatshirt, size XS regular | Click here and here to view the clips from my try-on
I took home size XS regular in this thin sweatshirt but after trying it on again at home I wonder if I need to stick with my usual size XS petite or XXS regular. I had ordered the ‘safari gold’ color in XSP in my first online order so I’ll see how that one fits. The ‘iceberg grey heather’ color appears more off white with rainbow speckles in person as seen here.
LOFT Marled Ribbed Tunic Top, size XSP | Click here and here to view the clips from my try-on
I ordered this top in one of my online orders but I didn’t receive it yet so I was happy to find one in my size to try on in store. Size XSP is a loose relaxed fit on me so I’m tempted to order size XXSP to try for comparison but I figured I’d wait until it comes and then do a quick exchange if necessary.
LOFT Flecked Tie Hem Sweatshirt, size XSP (similar here) | Click here and here to view the clips from my try-on
This tie hem sweater is really cute and it fits true to size for a relaxed fit. It’s also available in olive here but I think must have sold out quickly (it’s also available in olive here and in maternity here). Note that the material on the bottom hem is 100% viscose so I’m not sure if it will shrink but I hope not. I passed on this one since I would have preferred the olive color.
LOFT Luxe Knit Cowl Neck Tunic Sweater, size XSP | Click here and here to view the clips from my try-on
The ‘early harvest’ is a marigold color in person and I tried on my usual size XSP for a relaxed fit. This lightweight sweater is the perfect length if you want to cover you rear while wearing leggings. I actually ordered this sweater in my first online order but after trying it on in store I think I’ll have to return it. I don’t like it on me as much as some of the other new arrivals I spotted online and I placed another order after I can home from the mall. I usually try to go in store to see things in person which helps to cross certain items off my list.
Gola for J.Crew Bullet Sneakers With Cheetah Detail
I love the cheetah detail on these Gola leather sneakers. If you’re between sizes go up to the next whole size. For example, if you wear size 7.5 then try size 8. My usual size 7 fit me well. They’re $95 which is pricey but I couldn’t get them out of my mind after seeing them in store two weekends ago. I like how dainty they make your feet look. Note that the new leather is structured/stiffer but I didn’t get any blisters from wearing them while walking around for a few hours.
SHOP THIS POST
Lastly, I wanted to share a shameless (unsolicited) plug for a friend of the family’s new online shop called Knitizen since they carry a lot of cute sweaters right now. I’m sure she would appreciate your interest since they just launched two weeks ago.
Thanks for stopping by!
