I stopped by LOFT Outlet this weekend and I was excited to find this cute heart bobble sweater. Note that it was cheaper in store than it was online and it rang up as $23.99.
I took size S which is a relaxed fit since size XS was sold out. It’s a thinner sweater and it doesn’t contain any wool. I’m debating if I should get the red color too. I noticed LOFT has a bobble heart sweater with a crewneck neckline in their sneak preview section as well.
J.Crew Chateau Parka in Hthr Acorn, size 00 regular | c/o Ann Taylor Curvy Sculpting Pockets High Rise Skinny Jeans in Jet Black Wash, size 25/0P (review here, similar here which I prefer and reviewed here) | c/o Ann Taylor Lesley Suede Block Heel Booties (old from last year) | Click here and here to view the clips from my try-on
I got another color in the J.Crew Chateau Parka during the Black Friday and Cyber Monday promotions for $159.37. I was able to stack the new email sign up code for an extra 15% off. I kept the hther acorn color which is a great neutral camel/tan color. I had also ordered a few other colors and luckily this color fit me well. The other two colors (vibrant flame and hthr gold) fit differently (they felt more snug through the shoulders) despite being the same size and I noticed the sleeves were 0.5″ longer too. Size 00 in the color I kept has 23.5″ sleeves.

Did anyone else get this notebook from LOFT ALL Rewards this year or did you get something else? This is the first time I’ve seen them do this for their rewards program. I know that J.Crew does this for their clients.
FITTING ROOM REVIEWS
For size reference I’m 5′ 2.5″ and I’m usually size XS petite in tops and 0/25 petite in pants and jeans. If you’re new to my blog I typically share the link to a short video clip below each image. My Pinterest is also up to date if you prefer a more visual catalog of my reviews. Refer to my other reviews organized by retailer here.
At my local LOFT they styled this fuzzy sweater with the black pleated midi skirt and cute pearl hoop earrings. It’s a very cropped fit in the regular missy size (I’m 5′ 2.5″) and the sleeves felt a bit snug but they were not uncomfortable.
This black and white grid scarf is a really good neutral option and it’s not too thick and uncomfortable. It’s in my shopping cart once I figure out what else to order. Update 12/15: I ended up returning this scarf since if felt bulkier than I remembered from my in store try-on.
This popular holiday sweater is currently sold out online but my local store had a few sizes left. The color is a light tan/beige in person so it looks better on than if you just saw it on the hanger. It fits true to size for a relaxed fit.
I thought this was a cute blue plaid top so I tried it on for size. I like it on me better with the ties to keep the keyhole/v-neck opening together. The top looked really boxy and unflattering on my small chest with the ties undone.
This sweatshirt looks cute but the petite sleeves were a bit too short on me. I also noticed that the online reviews noted that this shrinks in the wash. This fleece hoodie looks like a better option.
This blanket scarf isn’t too thick but due to how wide it is I folded it a few times here.
I couldn’t find my usual size XSP to try so I tried on size SP for a relaxed fit. This sweater hits at the hips for a slightly longer length. The loose weave makes it likely to snag easily.
I also wore these Chelsea rain boots for the first time today and I noticed the traction isn’t there compared to the Hunter rain boots I typically wear. They were comfortable but my legs would have been warmer in tall rain boots.
I finally found this cardigan to try on but it’s currently sold out online. My local store had a few of them in the petites section. My usual size XSP is a relaxed fit.
This faux fur parka runs big. The waist is cinched in my usual size and it still fits really wide and roomy in the body as seen in the clip I linked to. As another online reviewer noted the cinch ties don’t work very well because when I first tried it on the ribbon on one side went through the hole and I had to pull it back out. It is a thicker warmer coat since the faux fur makes it extra cozy. If the petite sleeves weren’t already short on me I would have sized down to XXSP to compare the fit.
I thought this fleece jacket looked really cute but I wanted the off white/cream color which wasn’t available in smaller sizes. It’s a very oversized fit with a generous hood as seen here.
I wanted to end this post with this cute photo of Ralphie. It’s his first time wearing a bandana! Hopefully over time he will get used to wearing them and not want to bite at it.
Thanks for stopping by!
