I thought this plaid peplum blouse was really cute with the pink, white and black color combination (as seen up close here) as well as the ruffle details. It’s 100% rayon and it washed well on cold and air dried although I had to steam out the top before wearing it again since the material dries a bit wrinkled. My usual size is a loose fit but I wouldn’t size down since the sleeve length would be too short on me.

For size reference I’m 5′ 2.5″ and I’m usually size XS petite in tops and 0/25 petite in pants and jeans. If you’re new to my blog I typically share the link to a short video clip below each image. My Pinterest is also up to date if you prefer a more visual catalog of my reviews. Refer to my other reviews organized by retailer here.
I love a good flecked sweater so I ordered this new one to try. My usual size fit me well and this sweater is shorter in the front and slightly longer in the back. Size XXS regular actually fits more like how size XSP usually fits. If you’re of average height you may find this sweater on the shorter side.
Note that this top does not come in petite sizes despite what I said in the video clip. My usual size XXS regular is a bit looser than I prefer and the olive color is a bit more muted in person.
I thought this floral top was really cute when I saw it in store so I ordered it in my usual size XSP to try. The fit is a bit boxier than I prefer so I ended up returning it.
This top comes in olive and black and it’s a thin t-shirt with a generous fit so I would suggest going down one size. The sleeves of size XXS regular were very loose but the shoulder seams are meant to be a drop shoulder style when I checked the online stock image.
I wanted this cardigan in the silver/grey color (reviewed in size XS regular here) when it first came out but when my size popped back in black I ordered it to try. The sleeves are very long and the material will likely pill since the material is similar to this cardigan I have from last year. You can always get a sweater shaver to remove the pills.
This top runs true to size but it’s slightly sheer since I could see a faint outline of the waistband of my jeans. There are some subtle shimmery polka dots in the material as seen here. The v-neck is also more modest. If you love this style blouse it’s also available in other colors and prints here.
I love these faux fur slide slippers and I also have them in the ivory color last year (review here). I wear size 7 and took the medium size. For those shopping exclusively online here is what the crimson fire color looks like and here is what the radiant fuschia color look like in person. The soles do lose some of the plushness over time but my first pair is still holding up well as seen here (apologies for the close up of my worn pair).
The coat is fully lined and not too thin but in ny opinion layering is still required for colder (below freezing days). When I initially ordered this coat it was only available in regular sizes but I just noticed that petite sizes are now online. I’m reordering size XSP to compare especially now that it’s 60% off today. (I wanted to reorder size XXSP but it sold out by the time I went to checkout.) Size XXS regular is a generous fit and the sleeves are very baggy so I would suggest going down one size. Hopefully the sleeves will not be terribly short on me in petites.
I have been looking for a faux fur stole that crosses over like this for a while and I was happy to see that it’s offered in this taupe color as well as black. Even better it’s now 60% off for today’s daily deal. Note that the faux fur is only on one side and the other side is lined in 100% polyester. It also has a clasp to wear the ends side by side if you don’t want to wear it looped and crossed over.
On a related note I noticed that this popular faux fur vest is now available in petite sizes.
Ann Taylor Fringe Tweed Double Breasted Jacket, size 0P | Banana Republic Graphie T-Shirt, size XXS (review here) | c/o Ann Taylor Mila Leather Pumps (review here) | Click here, here and here to view the clips from my try-on
I know this is a low quality photo (I’ll probably retake this photo in better lighting the next chance I get) but I love this tweed jacket. Many sizes are currently sold out online but I had ordered two sizes and I went with my usual size 0P. The shoulders and arm holes feel more narrow in my usual size 0P so if size 2P pops back I may order it to compare. I had also ordered size 00 regular but the bust darts didn’t work for my smaller chest although it was otherwise a more comfortable fit through the shoulders.
Ann Taylor Pleated Hem Tee, size XSP | Ann Taylor Patricia Leopard Print Haircalf Bow Flats (review here) | Click here to view a clip from my try-on
I like how the pleats on the side of this top add additional interest compared to a plain tee. The top drapes well since the material has some structure to it. My usual size XSP fits me well. I had also ordered size XXS regular in white and while it wasn’t see through I found it was too long and slightly looser than I preferred.
I love silver tone dainty jewelry and I’m so glad I ordered these bow earrings to try. If you love bow jewelry then you should check out the entire collection.
Ann Taylor Faux Suede Moto Jacket, size XSP | Click here to view the clip from my try-on
I’m glad I snagged this faux suede moto jacket in black when my size popped back since I like the classic cut and style and minimal details. I prefer the muted hardware they used for the black color compared to the shiny gold tone hardware they used for the cognac version which I also have (review here). Sizes for this jacket occasionally pop in and out of stock online.
If you’re really petite you may want to check out this cropped leather moto jacket (available in black and cognac) which I noticed is on sale for 25% off (review here). Note that this jacket runs very small and it’s a thinner jacket.
I’ve tried on this jacket before but when I saw that it was $51 after discounts for Black Friday/Cyber Monday I couldn’t resist ordering it. I won’t be using a thin jacket like this anytime soon but I definitely need to purge some of my utility jacket collection since we’re moving in the near future. I like the length and fit of my usual size XXS regular and the cinch pulls at the waist help to give the jacket some waist definition.
I ordered this plaid scarf with this month’s Amazon gifting code and it’s a nice blanket scarf that’s not too bulky. It’s offered in 3 prints and I’m curious about the neutral Southwest Print now. I haven’t kept up with my Amazon shop so I was surprised to receive the gifting code.
I had other items I was hoping to receive by now (including a few coats) but some of my packages were delayed in transit due to the weather. You can always see my latest purchases linked on my Insta Shop or by following me @whatjesswore on the LIKEtoKNOW.it app.
