I’ve worn this cozy sweater three times now and it’s washed well but it started to pill at the lower portion of the inner sleeves where I tend to rub against things.
I was able to find this olive blazer to try in my usual size 0P (pictured above) as well as size 00P for comparison. Size 00P was too snug through the shoulders and sleeves on me (as seen here) while my usual size 0P was a relaxed fit. This popular blazer comes in olive, pink and a light tan color this season.

I actually have a very similar blouse from last year. I remember it washed well but the v-neck was lower in that version while this year’s version has a more modest v-neck. My usual size is a relaxed fit on me. I wanted these stretchy light wash jeans to work out but they were unflattering at the crotch on me and the petite inseam was a bit shorter than I prefer.
I finally had the opportunity to stop by my local LOFT stores to check out the new arrivals but I didn’t find much of what I was looking for in store.
I tried on this pretty floral jumpsuit in my usual size 0P but the petite size dug in at the armpits and the rise was a bit too high waisted for comfort. Size 00 regular (reviewed below) is a more comfortable fit for someone my height (I’m 5′ 2.5″).
This navy floral flare dress is really pretty in person. My usual size fit me well and the overall length at the hem is a short flirty length. The top portion is a bit looser on me since I have a smaller chest.
This striped dress is really adorable and it has pockets but the sizing is generous. You can probably go down at least two sizes (if possible) for a better fit.

This feminine floral top was on my wish list and my usual size XSP is a flowy fit while the sleeves are a bit short on me. I didn’t love it on me after trying it on so I passed on it. There’s a lot of excess material on the sides so it didn’t tuck in cleanly into the high waist jeans.
The dark wash high waist straight leg jeans are really cute and I had to size down for a better fit. I was contemplating buying them until I read one online review which mentioned they stretch out really badly. The material is really stretchy and comfortable.

I was testing out a side bow for my new Mary Jane Rothy’s in the above photo but I think I prefer the bow in the center pictured below.
I went up half a size in The Mary Jane for comfort but since my feet swell I wonder if I should have tried on a full size up from my usual. I had also tried on my usual size but the area for your toes is very narrow in The Mary Jane. I wore them all day walking around without any discomfort and no break in period. I sort of regret my impulse purchase of the black color since I should have held out for a more spring appropriate/neutral color. Once the weather warms up I wear a lot less black.
I tried on The Point and I also preferred them in a half size up for comfort. Since Rothy’s are an investment I only bought one pair for now. My little sister bought a used pair of The Point from Poshmark last year which is how I first heard about the brand. I recently heard that they opened a store on Newbury St. so I was glad that I could see the colors and try on the styles and sizes. I received a really nice reusable tote with purchase (pictured below). I wish they carried a neutral solid color and I’ll be keeping an eye out for new arrivals. They also just released a new bag collection yesterday.
If you would like to make a purchase you can use my referral link here for $20 off your first Rothy’s order. I will also receive a $20 reward from them if you make your first Qualifying Purchase using my link.

I miraculously found size 00 regular to try on in store and the romper was a comfortable fit at the armpits and crotch. I later tried on size 0P (review above) at another store and the petite size dug in at the armpits and the rise was too high waisted for comfort. For reference I’m 5′ 2.5″ and the regular inseam fit me well if I plan to wear heels. I didn’t get this jumpsuit though since I can never tell if the 100% rayon material will wash well since 100% rayon sometimes washes and retains it’s length for some garments while other times I lose precious length making it drape and fit differently. If you have this jumpsuit please share if it washed well after laundering and steaming which sometimes helps with any shrinking of 100% rayon.
Size XS regular fit me well but the sleeves were a little long on me but not in a sloppy way (note that I have longer arms than most petites and I prefer a 23″ sleeve length). I spotted the cardigan in the petite section after I had already finished trying on my other items but I was too lazy to deal with static cling with my hair by this point.
I love the colors and texture of this hoodie and I tried on size XS and I would need my usual size XXS for the best fit since it’s a relaxed fit. I really wanted the curved hem leggings to work but the inseam of size XS is a little longer on me so the curved hem scrunches at my ankles as seen here. The combination of the grey color and material wasn’t very flattering from the front so the leggings only looked decent with the crotch covered. You can sort of see how the material hugs and shows every outline of my knee in the above photo. If you like blue and white stripes then you may also like this striped boucle pocket tee dress.
LOFT Floral Peplum Top, size 0P | Slim Pocket Skinny Crop Jeans in Orchard Blue Wash, size 25/0P | Click here to view the clip from my try-on
I was eyeing the dotted peplum blouse so I tried on this floral version for sizing. My usual size 0P is very short in the front so I would need to try it in my other preferred size 00 regular for extra length. I prefer 23-24″ tops which hit mid-hip on me and this top was a few inches shorter than that.
My usual size 0P fit me well but it was a tad snug at the waist although not uncomfortably so although the material doesn’t have much give. The bust darts weren’t the most flattering on my small chest so I had to pass on this dress which is fully lined.
I have this blouse in the solid olive color (review here) so I tried on this floral version since it looked so cute on the sales associate. The sleeve length is a little short on me but the stretchy elastic at the wrists isn’t too snug so I didn’t mind the bracelet length sleeves.
I also tried on the new chewed hem slim pocket skinny jeans in white in my usual size 25P but the 23″ inseam was too short on me as seen here. I usually prefer a 25-26″ inseam for ankle length/cropped jeans.
Thanks for stopping by!
