I’m back this week with some LOFT and Ann Taylor try-ons. I placed a few online orders on 4/27, 4/28 and 4/30 and they took up to 2 weeks to arrive. I apologize as some items are currently sold out but I’m sure sizes will pop back since it is difficult to order the right size in everything without being able to try something on.

I love the drapey neckline on this cami. It only comes in winter white in petites but it’s available in black and grey in regular sizes. My usual size fits me well, the material isn’t too see through with a nude bra and the straps are adjustable. The overall length is longer as seen here but it drapes nicely when tucked into bottoms. The wide leg pants I paired them with are so comfortable with the elastic waist and I wish I got them sooner in the olive color but I settled for black since my size was available. Size XSP has a 23.25″ inseam and 28″ waistband.
I’ve been curious about these paperbag pants which are now available in a new yellow color. I ordered a size down based from the other online reviews and size 00P is still a bit roomy on me but I like the fabric which has some stretch to it. The cropped inseam is 24.5″. They don’t look too silly when you sit down as seen here. Ann Taylor also has some really cute paperbag shorts this season.
This gingham top is so cute and my usual size is a relaxed fit. It’s lightly lined and not sheer.
I’ve been watching Korean dramas this past week after my little sister recommended The King: Eternal Monarch to me. This dress is what you could call an ajumma dress but I did recently turn 37. It’s fits true to size, it’s fully lined and a comfortable stay at home house dress. I used my rewards points on it too. If you have a larger stride when you walk the inner lining isn’t as wide as the outer skirt.
These gladiator sandals are very chic with the thin straps and mini stud details and they also come in black suede. I ordered them in a half size down based on @thedoubletakegirls‘ review. The front strap is slightly snug across the top of my feet but the material has some give.
I ordered these faux flowers and vase when they were both on sale last week. I saw the measurements for the stems but they still seemed longer than I expected when they arrived in a poly-mailer that had a hole since they were not packaged well. The ends of the stems are bendy but it took a bit of elbow grease to fit two stems inside this tall vase. I like the way the stems bend over but up close the green buds at the end aren’t the most realistic. I’m eyeing a faux floral arrangement from this Etsy shop but I haven’t pulled the trigger yet.
I can never resist ordering clutches to try. This nuetral clutch is really popular so it’s currently sold out in the natural color but it’s still available in the black color here. Unfortunately, the clutch I received is crooked at the clasp and you can see the glue at the edges so I will be returning it. You can see the size of the clutch below.
This bird print dress is so cute but the v-neck is lower so I can see my bra from the side view. It’s unlined so it’s best as a beach coverup. It’s roomy enough that you may be able to size down for a closer fit. If you like this print it’s available in two other tops.

I was curious about this blazer and paperbag shorts as a matching set but the two colors are different. Both items tend to wrinkle since the material is a linen blend. The arm holes are cut a bit higher in my usual size 0P for the blazer so it only feels comfortable with a sleeveless top such as the cami I paired it with. The blazer has a boxier fit as well.
I was happy to find that the colors of this dress dress are just as pictured online. I took my usual size and the smocked portion of the dress is snug similar to the romper I reviewed below. If you like this style I noticed this very similar dress in scarlet.
I took this floral jumpsuit in my usual size. The smocked portion of the bodice is very snug but it works for my smaller chest. The regular size is full length on me and I’m 5′ 2.5″ for reference.
I rarely wear statement jewelry but the leaf motif looked really fun. They’re pretty lightweight and my earlobes weren’t sore when I took them off after wearing them for over 8 hours.
This pretty dress is currently sold out again but I’m sure sizes will pop back. My usual size fit me well. It’s also available in white but the white color did not receive good reviews online. The green color didn’t arrive too wrinkled when I took it out of the package and it is lined so it is not see through. The belt that came with the dress is good for defining the waist but it would have been even better if it came with loops to keep the belt in place. You have to re-adjust the belt when you move because it becomes loose rather easily. It also looks cute worn loose without the belt. Size 0P is 33.75″ total length.
This black dress looked really cute and simple but the material is on the thinner side. I can see the gap between my legs in strong sunlight. Also the arm holes are cut in such a way that they show a lot of more flesh from the sides as seen in this clip so I will be returning it. Size XXS is 34.25″ total length.
I was hoping this cropped wrap sweater would work out since I ordered it in both black and white but the wrap portion has nothing to secure it so you would definitely need a pin to keep your bust decent while wearing the top. Size XS fits like size XXS and while the material has a lot of stretch it runs very snug so you would need to size up if you have a larger chest that requires more coverage.
I also ordered these Lou & Grey essential leggings but the material stretches a lot so that the 26″ inseam felt even longer and the material bunched a lot over my legs.
I ordered these reusable masks on April 16 and I just received them today which is May 16. They are well made and worth the wait and my package arrived with a thoughtful note as well as 4 filter inserts. I love the more feminine design that she came out with for Design 3 which wasn’t available when I originally placed my order a month ago. Design 1 protrudes less but it covers more of your face for a loose comfortable fit as seen here. Design 2 is a closer fit with elastic loops as seen here. Both masks fit my face but they don’t fit my husband who has a larger face and head (he wears size 8 in baseball caps) since the ear loops were bending his ears forward. I wish I chose a more feminine fabric but black cotton is practical.
Update 5/23: I washed and wore out the masks and I find Design 1‘s ear loops to be less stretchy than Design 2. Since I have a flatter face I don’t like Design 2 on me since it sticks out like a bird’s beak. I’m used to wearing disposable masks which are thinner so the thicker cotton material takes some getting used to in terms of breath-ability.
Thanks for stopping by!
