I finally received all of the items I ordered from this year’s Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. Tomorrow is the last day of the #nsale and this cardigan will likely appear back in stock as people make returns. I’ve been refreshing my wishlist sporadically but I haven’t placed any new orders since the daily deal on the cardigans on 8/22. As mentioned in this post, Nordstrom customer service will honor the anniversary sale price if your order was cancelled earlier in the sale.
I prefer this new Barefoot Dreams cardigan style compared to the popular Barefoot Dreams CozyChic Lite Circle cardigan I reviewed here in 2018. The material is as thin as the other CozyChic Lite cardigan I tried on two years ago. The belt sash hits at an awkward place on me since I took size XS (note: I mentioned the wrong size in my video clip) and it adds bulk at my waist/hips as seen here if I try to wear it belted so I prefer to wear it open. I tie the removable sash in a bow in the back as seen here so that it’s not too long. For size reference, I’m 5/ 2.5″ and 106-108 pounds.

This black cardigan is the other cardigan I ordered to try and my usual size XSP runs larger so I wish I ordered size XXSP to try. It fits like size XS regular or S petite. You can size down if you prefer a closer fit. The cardigan has a drop shoulder seam but the sleeves are 24″ long. The material isn’t too thin but I read one negative review from someone that said this cardigan will start to show signs of wear after 5 washes.

I thought this top was so cute on Jean’s mom here so I ordered it to try. Size XL is a looser fit on me so I’m curious how size L fits in comparison. The measurements of size XL are as follows: 15.25″ shoulders, 36.5″ chest, 11.5″ upper arms, 23″ sleeves, 36.5″ along the bottom hem, 21″ at the shortest point where the twist starts in the front and 24″ in the back. The sleeves have thumb loops. The top is a thinner material so it will be a perfect layering piece with fall just around the corner.

I ordered these new grey jeans in two sizes since some styles run smaller than others for the Jamie style jeans. I typically go up one size in Topshop jeans but the 26W waist is 22″ across the top of the waistband while the 28W (as seen on me here and here) measured ” across the top of the waistband. Size 26W measurements are as follows: 22″ waist, 9.75″ rise, 24.5″ inseam and 8.5″ ankle opening. Size 28W measurements are as follows: 26″ waist, 10″ rise, 24.5″ inseam and 9″ ankle opening. I remember looking at the 26W size and I was doubtful it would zip up but they have a lot of stretch. Unfortunately, size 26W is too snug for comfort while size 28W is too loose for my preference.

Every year I order a pair of KUT from the Kloth jeans to assess the fit but this brand’s denim tends to have a lot of stretch which means my usual size 0P is too loose. Years ago I bought a pair of their jeans via Stitchfix but I had to resell them since they stretched out badly by the end of the day. I wish they offered size 00P since I like their classic washes and the slim ankle opening. The measurements of size 0P are as follows: 27.5″ waist, 10″ rise, 25.25″ inseam and 8″ ankle opening. Ann Taylor and LOFT as well as select Topshop Jamie ankle jeans continue to be my go to favorite brands for petite denim for their fit and work appropriate washes with no/minimal distressing.

I thought this top was so sweet with the bow on the bar in the back but the length and drape makes the top look shapeless on me. The measurements of size XL are as follows: 34″ chest, 48″ along the bottom hem, 22″ total length in the front and 25″ total length in the back with 25″ sleeves. This top has almost identical fabric composition as this popular Gibson cozy twist front pullover top (review here) so it will be prone to pilling. I recommend sorting by the 1 star reviews to see what I mean.
I am always searching for white skinny jeans so I ordered this sale pair to try but note that the pocket lining is see through and the material is thinner so you can see your underwear from the back. They used a gold color thread as seen here so the stitching is apparent at the seams. The measurements of size 26W x 28 Petite are as follows: 27″ waist, 9.5″ rise, 24.5″ inseam and 9″ ankle opening.

I thought the ruched side tie detail looked really cute so I ordered this top to try. Out of the other girls tops I ordered above this top fit the loosest at the chest since it has a 36″ chest and the top is 23″ total length. I would probably need this top in size L for a better fit. This top also has thumb loops at the end of the 25″ sleeves.

Lastly, I’ve been on the hunt for a nice lace camisole so I ordered this one to try even though it’s not part of the sale and $98 full price (hopefully it will go on sale in the near future). The petite size has a more generous (missy) fit so it was too loose for my smaller chest. Size petite measurements are as follows: 36″ chest, 24″ total length and 41″ along the bottom hem. I’ve never tried NIC+ZOE before but in browsing their styles I like their clean and classic take on wardrobe staples. This jacket reminds me of my favorite LOFT utility jacket from 2015 which I still wear once in a while in late summer/early fall.
I still haven’t tried the NEULASH serum which came the other day but my friend Lilly said that the pack of 2 should last almost a full year. I will report back once I start using it for a while to share whether or not it adds any noticeable length. Update 7/13/21: Review here.
Update 9/1: I forgot that I ordered these 2-pack seamless hipster briefs in size L (14) and they arrived via USPS yesterday. Girls size L stretches to fit women’s size XS but they’re not seamless.
