Franco Sarto Callahan Bootie (true to size) | Click here and here to view the clips from my try-on
I ordered these black booties since I liked cute tassel detail with the brass ring. They run true to size for me but they have a slightly narrow fit so I can’t wear them with thicker socks unless they stretch out with more wear. They have a non-slip sole (the heel isn’t non-slip though) and 3″ block heels which is my limit for heels. The chic silhouette easily dresses up an outfit with a simple change of footwear.

I’ve been living in black leggings so I’ve been searching for a few new pairs to rotate. Size XSP has a 25″ inseam. The black color has a nice sheen to it (as seen here) and the material feels really nice and it doesn’t seem to get as linty as some of my other black leggings. The fabric is a bit more substantial so panty lines are easier to obscure without feeling like I need to wear a top that covers the rear.
Ann Taylor Pull On Legging, size XSP | Frye Judith booties
I also found an all black pair of Frye Judith booties (pictured above with the Ann Taylor leggings) at T.J. Maxx/Homegoods which are comfortable and perfect for more casual outfits. I believe they were either $69.99 or $79.99 since I bought them weeks ago but I noticed some people are selling them for more on eBay.
Old Navy High-Waisted Elevate Side-Pocket Mesh-Trim Compression Crops, size XS regular | Old Navy Relaxed Breathe ON Twist-Hem Cropped Top for Women, size M (review here) | Click here and here to view the clips from my try-on
I took these leggings in size XS regular and since they’re cropped they have a 22″ inseam so petites would have been too cropped on me. For size reference I’m 5′ 2.5″ and 108 pounds. The compression makes them slimming and they’re very supportive. The leggings aren’t too thin but seamless underwear is recommended.
Adjustable 2″ Sangle Cavale Bandouliere Shoulder Bag Strap on the Celine Micro Belt Bag
I wanted to try a fun bag interchangeable strap for my black bags so I took a chance and ordered this 2 inch guitar style bag strap from an Etsy shop based in Hong Kong. I ordered it on September 29th and it arrived well packaged on October 17th. The leather grain on the strap is larger grain than my bag as seen here but the hardware was a decent match as seen here. I found out that I don’t love the Sangle Cavale style strap with my Celine bag but I noticed that the thicker strap helps to distribute the weight of the bag better so that it feels less heavy. Celine now offers interchangeable shoulder straps under accessories for $435. I even tried the strap with my Louis Vuitton Luminuese MM bag but I thought that it was too busy and the print competed with the embossed logos.

30mm Togo Leather Replacement Shoulder Strap in black | Louis Vuitton Marais BB in monogram empreinte leather (discontinued, last featured here) | Project 62 Framed Watercolor Blue Abstracts (review here)
I also ordered this bag strap (meant for the Hermes Lindy bag) in an attempt to convert a top handle bag into a shoulder bag. The replacement strap is offered in other colors and it’s a versatile strap since the button holes/hooks allow the strap to attach to any bag with two top handles or d-rings that can accommodate a 0.75″ strap. Unfortunately, I ordered the strap in too short of a length at 40 cm/15.75 inches as pictured below but I probably needed 50 cm/19.685 inches for a more comfortable shoulder drop.
I even tried to add an extra hole at the end of the straps to make it a little bit longer but that didn’t help much with the length. The black color, the leather grain as well as the sheen of the strap I received were not a good match for my Louis Vuitton Marais BB bag (last featured here). The strap I received was more matte than my bag which has a deep navy sheen as seen here in good lighting. Years ago I had asked about a custom strap for my bag from the Louis Vuitton boutique but it didn’t sound like something they would consider.
I may list both of the straps on Poshmark in case anyone is interested in them. I’ve been meaning to update my closet with more listings since I’m on a mission to declutter. I will try to make time since I have yet another staycation coming up due to the rise in COVID-19 cases. At this rate I won’t see my immediate family for over a year but I’ve been making it a priority to call them more.
Thanks for stopping by!
I love the black boots with black legging look.
Do you remember where the wine-colored cardigan is from?

Hi Kat, I did not feature a wine color cardigan in this post but please provide a screenshot. In 2019 I shopped at Ann Taylor and LOFT a lot so it was probably from there.
