J.Crew Chateau Puffer Jacket with PrimaLoft, size XXS regular | Ann Taylor Pull On Legging, size XSP (review here) | c/o Allbirds Tree Skipper in chalk (true to size and very close fit with no-show socks as seen here) | Click here to view the clip from my try-on
I ordered this Chateau puffer jacket in my usual size XXS regular based on my review of the jacket last year here in size XS regular. I purchased it during the Cyber Monday promotion last week for $92.60. It has room to layer and I like the cinch detail for some waist definition. It’s a thick puffer jacket with arm holes at the ribbed cuff sleeves which double as fingerless gloves. I have longer arms compared to most petites I know. The sleeve length is 24″ and 25″ if you include the ribbed cuffs so the sleeves are a good length for me.
I wore the jacket out as soon as I received since it was in the 20’s-30’s and I usually spend 30-45 minutes walking Ralphie. I can feel a little draft through the zippers but it is a warm coat that’s suitable for the New England winters with a generous removable hood that stays on and you can button it at your chin for really windy days. The coat gets really warm if you wear it indoors since I would end up sweating once we returned to the lobby. I also pulled out my black faux fur stole from last year (featured here) which is very effective at staying in place and blocking additional air flow.

I love these twist-hem tops and I already own it in white (as seen here), grey (as seen here) and dark grey (as seen here). They’ve washed well and they’re not see through. I went with size M regular for a relaxed fit and since I’m petite the 22″ total length isn’t too cropped.

I saw this sweater on my friend Lilly and I had to order it to try. It’s a short sweater measuring 20″ total length and size XXS is a relaxed fit on me. It looks cute paired with the below sherpa jacket (review here) which is 22 ” total length.
I’ve been searching for the perfect dried flowers for the bud vases I got a while back but this boutinniere was a bit shorter than I thought. It’s still a really cute tiny arrangement and the seller’s Etsy shop is full of pretty arrangements. I ordered it on November 22nd and I received it on December 1st which wasn’t too bad.

I didn’t like the poor quality of these popular decorative boxes since both boxes were chipped at corners. You should try to check them out your local store if you’re considering them. If you’re going for the overall look with wood accents then you might be able to overlook the defects but I did not love them in person.
