Ann Taylor Sherpa Moto Jacket, size XSP | Click here and here to view the clips from my try-on
I ordered this jacket in my usual size XSP in both the tan color and black color when it was 70% off and I received a code via text for an extra 10% off making the jacket $61.56 after discounts. The jacket is well made, it’s lined in sherpa and it has a boxy fit. The measurements of size XSP are as follows: 16″ shoulders, 36″ chest, 23″ sleeve length, 41″ along the bottom hem and 25.5″ total length. The collar can be overpowering so I’m still on the fence about keeping the tan color which was my favorite of the two color options.

I picked up Rothy’s The Sneaker (pictured above in sand) using some of my referral credits. The sneaker style runs true to size but I went up half a size for comfort since they have a slightly narrow fit. My feet swell so I wanted the extra wiggle room in the toe box. I’m usually size 7 and you can click here to see where my toes end in size 7.5.

I ordered this jacket back on November 24th and it’s currently sold out in almost all sizes online. It took a long time to arrive due to unprecedented shipping delays. (I still have an international item I ordered from Etsy that’s been stuck in customs since November 29th with no updates from FexEx). I liked the fit of the jacket but I did not care for the color which is dingy since the material has a grey cast to it in person. Based on all of the other online reviews I ordered a size down and size XXSP fits like my usual size XSP. The measurements of size XXSP are as follows: 15″ shoulders, 36″ chest, 22.5″ sleeve length and 25.5″ total length.
LOFT Dotted Stripe Button Back Swing Dress, size XSP | Ann Taylor Face Mask (note: it is thin and only 2-ply) | c/o Allbirds Tree Skippers in chalk (review here) | Click here to view the clip from my try-on
I apologize that many of the items I’m sharing are sold out online but I found this cute and comfy dress in store and I took my usual size XSP. It is a looser fit so you will probably see random sizes pop back if people return it. Also my hair is longer here since this was before I tried to cut my hair myself which I then had to get fixed by a friend of a friend at a local salon.
I was up late on my staycation watching some YouTube videos on how to give yourself long layers which was a mistake since the unicorn method did not work well with my long fine/thin hair. It resulted in choppy layers as seen here and here (I tried to trim the length the mid-length layer past my shoulders). It’s very subtle difference but the very first photo in this post is what my hair looked like after I kept trimming and trimming after the unicorn method left me with choppy layers. The stylist said I actually didn’t do a bad job and she was nice enough to blend the face framing layers and the back for no charge. I still left her a tip for doing me a huge favor.
Ann Taylor Marled Mock Neck Sweater, size XSP | Hunter Refined Slim Fit Rain Boots (true to size) | Click here to view the clip from my try-on
I ordered this sweater to try based on a recommendation from my Insta friend Erin. It’s a really pretty color with subtle metallic threads throughout as shown further below in the photo with the beanie. However, the knit is looser so I would be afraid to wear it since Ralphie‘s nails would easily snag it. My usual size XSP is a relaxed fit.
Ann Taylor Lace Trim Shell, size XSP | Click here to view the clip from my try-on
I just received this gorgeous lace trim shell in my usual size XSP. It’s fully lined in both the black and white color so it’s not see through. It’s been a a while since Ann Taylor made a nice layering cami like this one.

This cami is also lined in the front and back so it’s not too sheer for a white top. I love the peek of the lace detail at the neckline.

Turtle Fur Merino Wool Gianna Winter Hat | Click here to view the clip from my try-on
I found this fleece lined pom pom hat with ear flaps in stores at Sierra but their website has other really cute hats by Turtle Fur. They’re part of TJX companies so I always find tons of pet and dog toys in stores.

This cream colored cowl neck top is one of my favorite tops from T.J.Maxx. I liked it so much I ordered the black color in another recent order I placed for a few items including this non-stick 14″ wok which I’ve ordered for myself and my sister-in-law a few times from Amazon although they no longer carry it. It’s a thicker material so the material is not see through. Ever since my husband showed me how to make sure I get his employee discount online I have browsed their website more frequently.

Update 12/27: I just received the top in black today and I know I’ll get a lot of use out of it this winter.
Ann Taylor Face Mask | Floral wreath from ModSugarDesign | Click here to view the clip from my try-on
I recently ordered a few face masks when it was free shipping and when they were on sale for $5. This black and white floral print mask is from a set of 2 but I didn’t like the other print nor how it fit my face. This mask fits me better after washing and line drying. Note that this mask is only two layers of cotton.
Ann Taylor Face Mask and Scrunchie Set | Click here to view the clip from my try-on
I also liked this heart print mask but after washing and line drying it feels a bit snug to the point where the fabric pulls against my mouth and nose. I wore it out briefly yesterday and the loops felt like they were pulling on my ears. The scrunchie is too loose for me to use since I have thin hair. The fabric they used for this mask is thin and only two layers.
Ann Taylor Face Mask in Peri Nova | Crew neck sweater is old from Banana Republic Factory, size SP (review here) | Click here to view the clip from my try-on
I ordered this face mask in the bright winter blue and teal storm colors for my husband and in the above peri nova color for myself. I previously reviewed it in this post back in September when I bought it for full-price ($18). Last weekend I ordered a few more since they were on sale for $8 but yesterday I noticed it was on sale for only $5 but they priced at $10 as I type this post. The Ann Taylor face masks are generously sized since it fits my husband who typically has to wear ear savers with regular disposable face masks in order to take the pressure of the ear loops away from his ears. He said they’re the most comfortable face masks out of all the reusable face masks that I’ve purchased for him.

I ordered a few items on sale at J.Crew but these cute earrings were the only items I kept.
VAVA Dimmable Touch Night Light (the face sticker is optional) | Click here for a video of the touch controls
You can view my review in the videos section of my Amazon shop page. I got this night light to use for Ralphie since I’ve noticed he tends to lose his snacks at night if we turn off the lights since he likes to play with his food. I give him three baby carrots as a healthy snack. It’s also very convenient to bring with me if I need to take him to the pee pad in the middle of the night since he drinks a lot of water due to the heater being on.
Rae Dunn Let it Snow Sweater, size S
I got this adorable sweater for Ralphie and he quickly got it dirty from all of the snow on the sidewalk and roads. I was able to soak, hand wash and line dry it immediately so all the road grime came out. It’s been warmer the last few days so I hope the weather will help to melt the remaining snow. I’ve been dressing him to keep his legs and under carriage a little cleaner although I wipe him down and I wash his paws after every walk.

If you’ve made it this far I wanted to wish you a happy holiday and I hope you have a safe and happy new year! I am very grateful for your support and I don’t say it often enough. It’s easy to get discouraged by the lack of growth if I focus on the numbers but your loyal readership doesn’t go unnoticed. Also thank you for putting up with the puppy spam. Ralphie has filled a void in our lives and he’s honestly made 2020 much more bearable.

I plan to dress Ralphie in his reindeer pajamas for Christmas today. If you’re looking for the same pajamas you may find them in stores at T.J.Maxx since they sold out online. He took size M and he is a 15 pound male Shih Tzu.
I saved this festive little red neck tie from the groomer and I put it on Ralphie today after I gave him a trim. I took it personally when my husband said that he was looking a little rough.
Thanks for stopping by!
