J.Crew Double-Breasted Sweater-Blazer, size XXS | Ann Taylor Lace Trim Shell, size XSP (review here) | White jeans (similar here) | Soludos Ibiza Sneaker (also available in nude, review here) | Lancaster Paris Ikon Coated Canvas Satchel (more styles from the Ikon collection here) | Click here to view the clip from my try-on
I ordered a few items during last week’s J.Crew sale and they arrived within the week. March is cardmember appreciation month which means that you can use code CARDLOVE to save an additional 20% off when you shop with your J.Crew credit card (discount reflected at checkout).
This navy sweater blazer isn’t too thick so it’s a perfect layer for spring and summer. My usual size XXS is an oversized fit and the sleeves are loose. I’m not sure I could size down since I’ve actually never seen the unicorn size XXXS in stock. I cuffed the sleeves once so that they would be bracelet length on me.
J.Crew Knot Headband in Liberty print | Click here to view the clip from my try-on
I also got this headband in the blue and white Liberty floral print. I wore it all day without any pressure on the my head which can be an issue with some headbands.
J.Crew Ruffled Chino Chore Jacket, size XXS | c/o Verlein Ana Mini Crossbody in taupe (review here) | Rothy’s The Sneaker (review here) | Click here to view the clip from my try-on
I thought that the ruffle collar was a cute feminine detail on an otherwise basic khaki jacket. The jacket is unlined so it won’t provide much warmth but the cotton fabric will be comfortable for the upcoming warmer days and cooler nights. I cuffed the sleeves twice above but click here to see the full length sleeves on me. My usual size is a relaxed fit but I wouldn’t size down since it fits well through the shoulders. The measurements of size XXS are as follows: 14.5″ shoulders, 36″ chest, 38″ along the bottom hem, 23″ sleeve length, 13″ upper arm circumference, 9″ cuffs at the wrist and 25″ total length.
J.Crew Oversized Ruffle-Collar Shirt in Stripe, size 00 | Click here to view the clip from my try-on
The oversized ruffle collar on this shirt is so sweet. My usual size is an loose fit and the shirt is tunic length on me. The shirt looks cute paired with leggings or white jeans. I wish this shirt was offered in petites for a shorter overall length.

J.Crew Classic-fit Chambray Popover, size 0P | Click here to view the clip from my try-on
I only have one button down chambray shirt so I wanted to try this popover as well. I love the relaxed fit of size 0 petite but the petite sleeve length is short on me so I cuffed the sleeves once.
J.Crew Camera Bag in Canvas | Click here to view the clip from my try-on
I thought this camera bag was cute in the neutral canvas material but the one I received had creases in it which I’m sure you could steam out. The bags I saw in store looked great in comparison. It’s a good size but I didn’t love it and I already have a somewhat similar Zara canvas bag from last year so I returned this bag.
I also ordered the Camille shrunken sweater blazer and it hasn’t yet shipped but I’ll review it in another post once it arrives. I meant to share measurements and I will update this post when I have a chance to take measurements in case anyone needs them for size reference.
I have some other recent purchases I took photos of which I’ll share soon. Pre-Covid I used to stay up late into the wee hours of the night just to blog but I’m really exhausted and it’s only just before midnight. My latest LOFT order should arrive this week and I look forward to seeing what will work out.
Thanks for stopping by!
