Happy Sunday! I’m back with a review of some dresses since the weather this long weekend won’t allow me to wear any of them.

I’ve been curious about this dress and I finally ordered it to try. Size XS fits me well and the v-neck isn’t too low nor too revealing. The skirt portion is lined so it’s not too sheer. It’s also available in light green and white stripes here.

I’ve never heard of the Taylor brand but I ordered this dress in size 2 and I was surprised that it fit. 47.5″ total length looks longer on me than the model in the stock image since I’m 5′ 2.5″. The lace dress is an ivory color in person and it’s fully lined with a nude fabric so it’s not see through as seen here for a close up of the lace. It would make a beautiful special event dress and it’s $39.99 through T.J. Maxx and Marshalls. There’s a similar seafoam blue lace dress here.

I took this dress in my usual size for a swingy fit. It’s fully lined so it’s not too sheer. I love the stripes, eyelet detail and pockets and I had ordered it last week when there was a LOFT flash sale for 60% off 4+ items.

I took these sandals in my usual size. They looked very loose and wide on the models that I almost did not order them but they should fit well if you have slightly wider feet. They’re comfortable and the sole is rubber so there’s less risk of nicking the material that wraps the padded footbed.

I returned this gingham smocked peplum tank top since my usual size XXS regular but the straps were too long. I contemplated reordering the top in size XS petite but I’m not sure how much I’d wear the top so I passed on it for now. I also ordered these destructed high rise skinny ankle jeans in my usual size 25/0P but they were to snug to zip up comfortably and I exchanged them for a size up with the help of customer service.

Palm prints (“paradise” prints) are back and I took this maxi dress in my usual size. The chest runs smaller and I have a smaller chest already but I thought it was worth mentioning.

I received this simple t-shirt dress in a size up and it’s a much more comfortable fit. J.Crew has a similar dress here with cute ruffle cap sleeves and Walmart also has a similar dress here in certain colors.

I was trying to make up my mind about this dress and size XXS sold out before I could order it. Size XS fits me but the smocked bodice is a little looser but I love the fun floral print and half sleeves. The material is thin and breathable and the skirt portion is sheer due to being unlined so I found this 16″ nude half slip which works perfectly underneath. I wore the dress last weekend when it was near 90 degrees while out for a walk at a local park under the shade of trees as seen here (yes, Ralphie is in a shopping cart with a portable stroller fan to keep cool).

I bought this small lidded basket some time ago and I keep my sandals in them as seen here. I recently saw that the baskets popped back in stock but the two larger sizes went quickly. I actually meant to get the plain basket with no stripes but it keeps selling out. I caved and ordered the popular one size bras that I’ve seen a lot of other influencers promoting. The band in the bra top is 21 inches (about 53.34 cm). For size reference, I take 32A in these Wacoal petite lace embrace bras which have smaller cups than regular bras. The NEIWEI bras comfortable enough to sleep in and I usually sleep with no bra on. The removable padding adds some shape even if you’re small chested so that your chest won’t be flattened by the bra but the shape of the padding is generously sized if you’re an AA cup size. The cups are 6 inches (15.24 cm) across and 6.5 inches (about 16.5 cm) top to bottom. The neckline and arm holes are cut  higher so it’s not a good bra to wear under loose clothing with generous armholes or lower necklines.

The mid waist panties are 21 inches at the waist (about 53.34 cm) with a 9 inch (22.86 cm) rise. I have a 28 inch (71.12 cm) waist, 34 inch (86.36 cm) hips and I’m currently 113 pounds 51.25 kg. The panties may be too loose if you’re thinner and have a slender build. For example, if I lost just a few pounds the panties would become too loose for my rear and slide around. The above set is shown in the treacly almond color but I also have the champagne wheat color as well in the older 2020 style. Both shades are good nude colors for my skin tone.

I recently ordered a trio of the the thinner strap bras and matching panties on May 19th and I received the package on June 3rd. Note that the panties are very comfortable but the material in the lighter colors will showcase every bump in your stomach area. I ordered them because I wanted matching panties but I prefer the bras over the panties. Update 9/17/21: I’ve worn the panties for a while now and they have washed well lined dried with no pilling thus far. I wish the panties stayed in place better since they do move around a lot so I have to carefully tuck them in to avoid panty lines.

I was curious about this bag and I ordered it to try since I like the belted strap details and color. Hopefully I will like the quality and size when I receive it. Update 6/5: I received the bag but I didn’t love the color and style in person so I ended up returning it. You can see the bag here and it was just as pictured online except the blue color was a little darker.

Cuyana Mini Double Loop Bag

I’ve been eyeing this new mini bag and the cognac color was the favorite in a recent poll I did on Instagram stories. I recently sold a few of my other bags that I haven’t used on Poshmark. I’m also considering the Polene Numero Un Mini Backpack in taupe. I still need to go through all of my bags one more time and I don’t want to make a rash decision since it would be more difficult to return the Polene backpack to Europe if I don’t like it.

Nine West Ieni Flat Slide Sandals

I saw these pretty clear sandals at Marshalls in the natural color as seen here but I couldn’t find them in my size to try. I ordered the white color via Marshalls to try and the natural color in my usual size and a half size to try up via Nine West using the code NW202102P25 for 25% off.
