In my search for the perfect fleece top this season I missed out on the off white color of this pullover when the Uniqlo x White Mountaineering collaboration launched online on November 1st. I ordered the black color to try on for sizing and it’s an oversized fit without looking sloppy. Note that I layered it with an old favorite LOFT camisole from years past due to the gaps and curved hem on the sides. Out of all the women’s styles for this collaboration this pullover went quickly in white since everyone likes the same things. (Similarly, I was bummed to miss out on this hoodie in white from the fall Uniqlo x J+ collaboration.) However, I realized that the black color is a versatile piece once I gave it a chance and styled it for a casual athleisure look and as a casual work outfit. I bookmarked the White Mountaineering pullover (and + J hoodie) and hopefully I’ll be able to snag the white color soon if someone returns it in my size. I even ordered the kids version in white in size 13 but it didn’t have the same flattering drape as the women’s fit and it lacks the pretty side tie ribbon detail that makes the women’s version unique.
