Happy holidays! I love sky blue so I was excited to see this sweater on the Marshalls website for $39.99. Size S is a looser and boxy fit on me but they didn’t have size XS. It’s available in other colors and retailers here. The color is a true sky blue in person but it’s washed out in the above photo and it’s truer to the hue in the photo below with the sneakers.
I thought these $29.99 sneakers were cute with the fringe detail in the back but the tongue is stiff. I ordered them to try and kids size 5.5 fits like US 7.5 and I usually wear women’s size 7. I ended up returning them since the tongue is a bit longer and stiff and they would require some time to break-in similar to the Veja sneakers I reviewed here.
I got this sweater on sale in store for $38.49. The material isn’t irritating even though it contains 25% wool. It’s similar to the ribbed sweater I was eyeing during the #nsale here but I had missed it in the color I wanted.
Uniqlo x White Mountaineering Mock Neck Fleece Pullover Shirt, size XXS (styled and reviewed here in black) | Click here to view the clip from my try-on
I finally snagged this fleece in the white color I wanted and it was on sale for $19.90 instead of $29.90. Size XXS is a boxy fit on me and due to the curved hi-lo hem and ribbon ties it requires a layer underneath.
Zella Girl Kids’ Cara Wrap Cardigan, size XL (review of the light grey color here) | 7/8 Length Leggings, size S | Banana Republic Factory Sneaker (true to size) | Click here (closed) and here (open) to view the clips from my try-on
Lastly, I noticed this cardigan is on sale for 20% off so I got it in the new dark grey color. I also just ordered this twist hem shirt since it’s $20.

My husband became obsessed with Legos since I got him this Lego Porsche 911. He built all of these models as seen in my Instagram highlights in about 2 months during his free time. It’s a good thing we live in a condo because we don’t have the shelf/table space to display any more Lego sets. He even got me this adorable yellow Fiat 500 and it’s the only Lego set that’s not displayed out of sight in our bedroom. Each Lego set especially the larger car sets have its own unique features and movable parts which are quite fascinating.
I tried on this peplum top since I thought the little bows were cute but the placement of little stitch makes it hard to put on the top. I thought I was going to pop the stitch that keeps the wrap top closed when I pulled it on over my head and past my shoulders since there’s no side zipper for easier on/off. I have a small chest so those with a larger chest would probably have to cut the stitch and secure it using a safety pin or hidden snap button.
I often hide my face behind my iPhone with the mirror selfies but being makeup free is one of the best things I did for myself since working from home. I miss my family in PA terribly but I hope everyone stays safe however you choose to celebrate the holidays this year.
Thanks so much for stopping by!
