Spring is almost here and I hope that spring temperatures and weather is here to stay! I shared this outfit in the beginning of March on my Instagram and Insta Shop but I have been behind on updating my blog. I ordered this puff sleeve sweatshirt when I saw that Amazon came out with a new line called Amazon Aware for those that prefer to shop consciously. I took the sweatshirt in size XS since I prefer a relaxed fit and the material feels so soft. The material creases a bit when you sit but it’s a cozy layer for the spring transition. (This sweatshirt which I got in white is another super soft option with a more cropped fit and I’ll share it in an upcoming post.)

Coincidentally a few days after I bought the sweatshirt Amazon sent me a gifting code to order a few more Amazon Aware items to try for free in exchange for a review. The quality of the Amazon Aware pieces are really good but none of the gifted items I picked worked out. Against my better judgement I ordered some men’s items that looked gender neutral but the sleeve length for the men’s line runs really long. Size XXS in their men’s line does not fit the same as size XXS for women. For example this fleece half zip sweatshirt ran really long and snug through the hips in men’s XXS (it would fit a taller lanky male figure) but if it had been designed for women’s XXS then it probably would have more room through the hips. I also ordered this women’s jersey ruched dress but the material was very thin and sheer in the white color and I probably should have ordered a darker color to try.

This striped sweater is now $10 (originally $16.98). It reminds me of this $125 Sezane sweater. If you like cropped henley sweaters with a boxy fit Banana Republic also has this version in solid colors (as seen on my stylish friend Lilly).

I’m wearing my old favorite white skinny jeans above but I just ordered these white mid-rise toothpick jeans in the 8″ rise as seen on me here. I am waiting for the next sale to order the 9″ rise for comparison since I would prefer the slightly higher rise for more support. The inseam of my usual size 25 petite hit just above the ankle and the waistband is very stretchy so they don’t cut into your waist when you sit down.

I’m also wearing my old favorite mid rise black skinny jeans above but I just ordered these high rise black jeggings to try in 0 short and I’ll review them soon. I’m almost finished with editing the lighting for all of the photos/video clips for my March collaboration with Walmart. As a helpful Walmart shopping tip, the bottom of the stock image provides an option to choose another model that best matches your height and size. I noticed this feature only works on select brands sold and shipped by Walmart. Ever since I switched my preferred fit model to Malia who is 5’3″ this AI powered shopping feature has helped me to get a better sense of how some of the clothing will look like on me.
