I love effortless outfits comprised of good basics. I’m on the fence about this boxy off white shirt jacket but it works with some of the casual outfits that I’ve tried. I wish Walmart brands offered size XXS because size XS is often a bit looser and boxier than I prefer. I removed the sash that it came with since belting it isn’t very flattering for my rectangular shape (I have minimal curves). For size reference I’m 5′ 2.5″ and currently 113-115 pounds.

My friend Lilly often wears these square toe flats and I think they look so chic so I finally ordered this neutral color to try. I did not apply a filter to the above photo so I hope you can see the true color in the photo and linked accompanying video clip. I usually wear size 7 and I ordered the flats in 3 sizes just to be sure that I wasn’t settling on the fit. My usual size 7 was too long and loose so I went with size 6.5 and I still have plenty of wiggle room in the front so these flats run longer in the toe box. In case it’s helpful my feet are about 9.5 inches long or about 24 cm. I never tried on size 7.5 since my usual size 7 was already too big.
I didn’t have to break in the flats because the leather upper is very soft and flexible and the rubber soles have a good grip so you don’t have to worry about slipping on smooth floors. The leather appears is thinner and more delicate so I’m worried that I’ll scuff the front on the sidewalk since I’m clumsy and Ralphie pulls me around. I plan to wear these flats for work or when I know I’ll be walking mostly indoor. My coworker said that she wants to get a pair after seeing me wear them this past week. They’re flat and offer no arch support in case that’s a deal breaker for you.

Velvet by Graham & Spencer Women’s Lula Cotton Slub Swing Tee, size XS | Click here to view a clip from my try-on
I splurged on this swingy cropped tee since my friend Su recommended it. I always love her petite recommendations. It’s ver pricey at $79 for a thin tee but it’s so popular that it’s often sold out. The material is not too sheer with a nude bra underneath. If you sign up for emails you can get 15% off (I received code New-Friend15 when I signed up).
The measurements of size XS in the Lula swing tee are as follows: 14.5″ shoulders, 36″ chest, 45″along the bottom hem and 21″ total length in the front and 21.” total length in the back. The quality is comparable to the AYR sno cone tee ($65 each, save 20% when you buy 2 or more tees) which I own and reviewed here but I prefer the swingy fit of the Lula cotton slub tee which is more flattering on a petite frame. I find the French tuck to be rather awkward (bunching on the sides and messy/unflattering back view) so a swingy cropped fit is preferable since you don’t have to tuck it in.
For a more affordable white cropped tee I just ordered this $10 one to try. This $12 tee is one I previously reviewed here in size XS but I wish Walmart offered size XXS.
