Sam Edelman Bay Jelly Sandals in rose dust| Click here to view the clip from my try-on
I was looking for neutral waterproof sandals and I ordered these jelly sandls to try in rose dust and modern ivory. I only kept the rose dust color which is a beautiful neutral shade of pink in person. I wish they offered a bright white color instead of ivory since I think that white would have been more versatile. They have a strong smell due to the material which mostly aired out after a few days. You can still smell the PVC when you sniff them up close since I’ve had them for a week now. They come in whole sizes only and I took my usual size 7. The length of size 7 is 9.75″ end to end and my larger (right) foot is about 9.25″ long. I wouldn’t recommend these sandals if you have narrow feet but they’re a comfortable fit for my slightly wider feet. I like that I don’t have to worry about scuffing them unlike the regular Sam Edelman Bay sandals (review here) which come in a leather upper. Once in a while I’ll trip on the uneven pavement or the curb and the scuffed ends look raggedy even if you try fill them in.
LOFT Petal Sleeve Floral Clean Tee, size XXS regular (old favorite) | Polene Cyme Mini in camel (review here) | Click here to view a clip of the outfit on me
This floral top is an old favorite but it’s one of the few pieces that I haven’t culled in my closet clean outs. I recently converted the Polene Cyme mini bag into a crossbody bag (as seen here and here) using the removable strap from their crossbody wallet. Luckily I was able to sell a few things on Poshmark that I wasn’t using or that didn’t work out while I was on vacation this past week which more than covered the price of the wallet. I contemplated ordering the adorable numero un micro bag since it also has a removable strap but the wallet seemed like the more practical choice. I prefer crossbody bags so that I can have both hands free for a better handle of Ralphie who is almost always with us so I should be able to use the Cyme mini bag (purchased last October) a lot more going forward.
Thanks for stopping by!
