HeyNuts High Waisted 7/8 Leggings with 25” inseam, size XS | Free Assembly Women’s Fleece Placket Popover Top, size XS | Marika Waist Fitness Bag (exact item linked, T.J. Maxx find from a few years ago) | Soludos Ashore Sneaker | Click here to view the clip from my try-on
I love a good pair of leggings and these highly reviewed leggings did not disappoint. They’re really soft, wash well and the material has decent compression so panty lines aren’t bad if you make sure the seams of your underwear lay flat. They’re 7/8 leggings with a 25″ inseam so they’re petite friendly and they hit above the ankles on me (I’m 5′ 2.5″). If you’re really petite (under 5′) then you may like the cropped 21″ version of the leggings here. A lot of the reviews compared the HeyNuts leggings to the popular Lululemon Align leggings which I personally have not tried. When I shared the leggings on my Instagram stories a few people followed up after they received them to let me know that they liked these leggings just as much as I do.
The Soludos Ashore sneaker runs true to size but the fit is narrow so you may want to size up for comfort if you have wider feet. I took them in my usual size 7 but I wear mine without socks. I ordered them on final sale for $55 in September when they did a sample sale and the price went back to $109 after the sale. The mesh material is stretchy making them comfortable to wear out immediately without any break in period. I also love the leather version (review here) and I’m on my second pair.
Update May 2023: I loved these washable sneakers but they didn’t last long (not even half a year) since I ended up with a hole where my big toe nail rubbed against the shoe. I had washed them twice or maybe three times and I noticed the rubber sole was coming apart in a 1 inch gap on the side of one of the shoes.
This fleece pullover is one of my favorite finds from Walmart. I liked the ivory color so much I ordered the grey color just before that color sold out. I’ve washed and worn the ivory color a few times the last few weeks and it’s laundered well on cold and line dried. Size XS is a loose/relaxed fit all over on me but without looking sloppy. Free Assembly runs a bit big and loose on me so I wish they offered size XXS but all of the items I’ve ordered from this Walmart fashion brand have washed well. I almost ordered this similar pullover from Target but I’m glad I went with the Walmart version.
I liked these leggings so much that I also got them in dark olive and denim blue (review here).
I caved and got these Freedom Moses sandals in the limon sands print when they went on sale. I previously reviewed the white color here.

Other 7/8 leggings I’ve tried and would recommend:
Colorfulkoala High Waisted 7/8 Length Leggings with Pockets – If you like leggings with pockets then you may like this pair. They’re a bit thinner than the HeyNuts leggings and the material is not buttery soft. I am between size XS and S for these leggings and I went with size S for comfort but you can take your usual size if you prefer more compression. I made the mistake of washing them without turning them inside out so the seams ended up getting lint stuck on them.
Free Assembly Women’s 7/8 Leggings (review here) – These leggings are thin, the material feels cooling, they have a lot of compression through the legs (perfect if you like your leggings snug), they hold their shape after a full day’s wear and they don’t attract a lot of pet hair. The fabric has a slight sheen to them that makes them look more polished as seen here. I am between size XS and S but I went with size XS for an overall slimming effect. Note that size XS has a very narrow ankle opening. Size S also fit me in the waist and hips but the legs looked a bit looser throughout.
Thanks for stopping by!
