It’s already the end of January and I wanted to share a few quick updates. My husband and I enjoyed a rare week off together this past week so Ralphie has been spoiled with attention.

This LOFT sherpa jacket is an extra 60% off and on final sale making it under $70 after discounts. The ivory color is well stocked. I recently stopped by a few local LOFT stores but I’ve been disappointed with the quality and styles for the last few years. This jacket is one of the few items I liked and kept in both colors (review and measurements here).

I love these 7/8 leggings with a petite friendly 25″ inseam and I got them in another color (carbon dust) since I don’t like that Ralphie’s fur always shows on my black leggings.

I sent in a thredUP partner kit with Cuyana during the winter holidays (the week leading up the Christmas) and it was processed in about two weeks (on January 7th). I received my credit the following week (on January 11th) which is a faster turnaround time than their usual Clean Out kits (review here) which have taken almost half the year. They accepted 34 items and I received $176.95 ($153.87 plus a 15% boost) for the large box I sent in with mostly Ann Taylor and LOFT items which is a higher payout than some of the other Clean Out kits that I’ve sent in. I wanted to resell some of the items myself on Poshmark but with family visiting around the holidays I just didn’t have the time nor the energy. I just wanted to clear the clutter. I also don’t like that you now need to report your Poshmark earnings when you do your taxes since I use Poshmark to resell pre-loved items at a loss.

I had to get this under $40 folding storage ottoman after seeing at my brother in law’s place. I bought it in the 30″ size and 45″ size since it’s sturdy and holds a lot.

I’ve been wearing these New Balance 327 sneakers on rotation with the Allbirds Tree Dashers 2 (review here). I took them in my usual size for New Balance sneakers which is a 1/2 size down and I wear them with these thin no show socks. The sides are cut lower for the New Balance sneakers so I had to get used to them after wearing the Allbirds sneakers which provide more foot coverage all around. They’re comfortable for me but they don’t offer any arch support so if you have foot issues you probably won’t like the 327s.

I love knife cut noodles (thanks to my sister-in-law for introducing them to me a few years ago) and so I was excited that Trader Joe’s now sells these made in Taiwan squiggly knife cut style noodles ($4.99 for a pack of 4). I like the thickness and bite of the Trader Joe’s version better than the pricier Momofuku x A-Sha noodles ($13.49 for a pack of 5).
