I’m back with a few new updates and reviews! February was an exhausting and dreary but busy month and although I couldn’t bring myself to update my blog or social media I tried to update my Insta Shop from time. Hopefully the remainder of winter in New England won’t be too bad although anything can happen until the end of April. I’m eagerly looking forward to sunshine and dress weather so that I can bid adieu to leggings and winter coats.
I took a chance and ordered this grey hoodie from the maternity section since I thought the cross-front detail added interest. I like the longer length which covers the rear and the cross-front flaps make the top both flattering and comfortable. Size XS fit me well and it didn’t feel like a lot of extra material so it can work for non-maternity wear as well.
I can never resist a cute sherpa jacket so I ordered both black and white to try but I only kept the black color. I wasn’t sure if I should keep the jacket since I have a dog but that’s what lint brushes are for. The jacket has an oversized fit and I wish they offered size XXS but I thought the black color looked more flattering when I compared the photos. The measurements from size XS are as follows: 16″ shoulders, 52″ chest, 52″ at the hips at the top of the curved hem, 21″ upper arm circumference, 25.5″ sleeve length, 27″ total length.
This was my first Alo Yoga purchase (use code ALOBFFS for 10% off) so I also ordered the 7/8 high-waist airbrush legging which was a petite friendly length. However, I didn’t love the matte material in the white color so I returned them but the material was a good weight and not see through in white. I tried ordering other white leggings through Amazon but I haven’t found a winner yet.
Update 9/5/23: My mom was chilly in the evening when she came to visit us in Boston so I gave her the black sherpa jacket. Size XS is so oversized that it fit my mom comfortably. She’s 5’4″ and about 150 pounds and wears women’s size large and size 10 in pants.

This is the sweater I have on under the Alo Yoga jacket. I ordered the sweater in white after I got the pink one (seen here) since I like the oversized fit.
I spotted this white pullover in store and I took size M for a relaxed fit and longer length. The sleeves are longer but I don’t mind since I push them up and out of the way. The Therma-FIT material is comfortable without making me feel overly warm.
I also replaced the mosaic side table/stool which was chipping with this white stool so that my husband has something sturdy to sit on when putting on his shoes.
Serena & Lily Turnstone Door Mat in blue
Serena & Lily’s marketing team gifted this door mat for posting about one of their prior sales on my LTK shop here. I really wanted the navy color but at the time the color went on clearance (and it was no longer on the table as gifted item) so I chose the blue color instead. Ralphie has taken to napping on his new door mat so I try not to step on it when coming and going (although it looks thin enough that I could probably chance popping it into the washing machine on delicate even though that’s not part of the care instructions). The Turnstone door mat/rug is a nice pattern but it’s thinner and less structured so it requires a good rug pad underneath.
Size XS is a looser fit through the babydoll waistline (wishful thinking but I keep hoping Free Assembly will offer size XXS). I really like the pleated details on the sleeves and the dress has functional pockets. At $26 I ended up getting this dress in ivory, black and light blue but since it’s not dress weather yet I’ve been wearing them at home. Note that there’s a piece of fabric at the end of the sleeves which I wish they sewed/secured because you need to fold/tuck it back into the cuff of the sleeves when you first put on the dress.
I’ve been on a de-cluttering tear and I made an at-home appointment with The RealReal this past week to sell some items from my closet. The items should be authenticated and listed on their site in about two weeks. In the meantime I’ve been researching which bag(s) I wanted to check out since I really cleared out my handbag collection this time. Aside from Polene, I haven’t really looked at other designer handbags in a few years because I tend to make impulse purchases. I love my Celine pico belt bag and the nano belt bag is at the top of my wish list. I was hoping to sell my micro belt bag (last seen here) but TRR wouldn’t take it since I had the removable crossbody strap shortened so I’ll just hold onto it for now. Update 3/14: My items are slowly being listed on their site and I linked to them here (my comments where applicable can be viewed on the free LTK shopping app).

Lastly, I placed my first haul from Say Weee! and I was delighted by their online selection. If you want to sign up please use my referral link here for $10 off your first 2 orders. You can schedule the day and delivery window similar to Instacart. They have a vast variety of items all in one site and you check out their Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Vietnamese, Filipino and Indian stores from the top right corner. I will say I ordered a lot of frozen items and while the paneer was packed with its own ice pack the other items could have used more ice since a few items were slightly thawed although they still felt cool to the touch. The one jarred item (Shallot Sauce) that I ordered was safely wrapped in bubble wrap. I ordered a few new items and I was disappointed in the Lipton Roasted Flavor Oolong Milk Tea (it tastes too much like the after notes of Lipton tea and 3:15PM has tastier milk tea blends) but the red bean steamed piggy buns are cute and tasty.
Thanks for stopping by!
