White Swiss Dot Dress

White Swiss Dot Dress, size S

I had the most relaxing weekend with my husband and Ralphie. Ever since we started eating healthier these last few weeks I feel that I have mental clarity that I haven’t had in years and I feel more productive at work. I finally dropped under 115 pounds by cutting out added sugars and adding more fiber although I cheated today and I had a bubble tea since I hadn’t had one in a few weeks. It’s unbelievable how one medium size bubble tea drink is over $7 at some bubble tea chains in the Boston area.

I ordered this adorable white swiss dot dress last week when it was on sale and there was a coupon code that brought it down to under $12 which I shared on my Insta Shop. I have a similar swiss dot dress (review here) that I also love and I have that in white and navy (see the navy color on me in this post). On a related note I ordered this similar dress by BTFBM last year to compare but I prefer the version by Zattcas since it’s made better (the slip/lining is better) and has a more flattering fit.

If you’re on my blog from Instagram/Facebbook to read this post I wanted to thank you for your silent support. I know this is my little space on the Internet but after losing more followers than I’ve gained on Instagram these last few years it’s made me very hesitant to post but I shouldn’t let that hold me back.

My oh my! You look stunning, Jess! I tell you: your beauty shines more as time goes by. I’m on my laptop now and i had to do a double take; since typically I read your blog on my tiny iphone which obviously doesnt do you justice.

Pls share your eyebrow tips (unless i missed your post on it). The shape and the texture of your brows is exactly what i would like mine to look like. Mine right now is the wild caveman look. lol.

Sigh, I need to shed some lbs. The night time eating is the culprit for me.

In college town Florida, our Boba tea is at least $5.50 for “regular size” which is about 1.5-2 cups? And here I am complaining.

Definitely pls continue your posts here. Your reviews and random posts are such a joy to read. Always nice to hear your life updates, your honest opinions, exciting discoveries on anything and everything….something rare to find in the heavily monetary-driven social media posts out there by influencers.

      Hi Madie,

Thanks so much for your kind words and for always reading my blog! It means a lot especially when you take the time to leave me your sweet comments.

You’re lucky you have caveman brows since that means you can see your eyebrows without doing anything to them. My eyebrow hairs are somehow very light and sparse due to ongoing thyroid issues (I’m now hypothyroid after years of having Graves). I used to over pluck back in the day but now I just pluck at the stray hairs. You can see how my brows look before and after here. I use a dark brown brow pomade (Benefit Brow Zings Pro Palette) to add some pigment to my brows with a light hand (not too much since I don’t like strong defined brows on me). I then lightly fill in the sparse parts of my brows and the end of my brows with a brow pencil (Revlon Colorstay Brow Pencil – in dark brown) using light strokes and then I use the spoolie end to soften the lines.

If I eat at night I try to limit myself to a small piece of fruit like a clementine or applesauce (no sugar added) but I agree night eating is bad for you.

I am so glad we no longer drink boba every day. That was us last summer and I’m so happy that we broke that bad habit. Inflation has made the price of boba go way up over here but it sounds like it’s affecting your town as well! For a more affordable option did you see my boba at home post? You can usually find the 3:15 tea mix at the Asian grocer for much less than Amazon.

Thanks again for your support and encouragement! Ralphie has had a few issues these past few weeks (he’s fine now) and my family came to visit last weekend so I’m still recovering from lack of rest.

      Take care! xo – Jess
