Today I’m sharing a try-on review of the Lululemon Stretch Woven High-Rise Wide‑Leg Cropped Pant. Trying them on in the fitting room is helpful to assess the fit, drape, and comfort. In this post, I’ll walk you through how they looked on me and I’ll also share a few other Lululemon try-ons and reviews.

The measurements of the wide leg pants in size XS are as follows: 25″ waist (the waistband stretches easily to 28″ but it could stretch another inch or two), 9″ rise (11″ if you include the waistband), 26″ waist at the start of the pockets, 26″ hem at the ankles, 25.25″ inseam. The cropped inseam fit me perfectly but they offer free hemming for their tops and pants if you need it. I also heard about the Lululemon Asia Fit collection from Virginia (@whatevewore) based in Sydney, Australia but you have to be based in Asia to order from their Hong Kong site. For size reference I’m 5′ 2.5″ and 115 pounds.

I sized up to size 10 in this cropped jacket in their soft Nulu fabric since I don’t like a snug fit. I also tried on size 12 for comparison but it was too loose so the fit looked sloppy. I want the jacket in white, bone or black but I’m still on the fence since I typically don’t like to wear more fitted/body skimming clothing now that I’m 41. It’s harder to lose weight after 40 even though I try to watch what I eat and I gained 5 pounds during 1 week of vacation. The sleeves are very long but I have longer arms than most petites.
I originally went to the store to look for the Always Effortless Jacket in white in size 2 since size 4 was too loose and boxy. However, I didn’t get it since it’s too hot for a jacket right now and I’m not sure how much use I would get out of shorter length jacket. The windmill (light blue) color is pretty but it wouldn’t be as versatile as white or bone.

I was about to buy this relaxed t-shirt in store until a customer cut in front of me so I still haven’t ordered it yet. I tried on size 2 and 4 for comparison but I like the fit of size 2 since size 4 was too loose all over. It’s the perfect cropped length on a petite frame without needing to do a half-tuck.
I also tried on other Lululemon items since I’m new to the brand and I’m usually size XS or size 2 (or size 4 for a more relaxed fit). My black Uniqlo BLOCKTECH jacket stopped being waterproof after I washed it too many times so I’ve been searching for a new rain jacket. I tried on the popular Rebel Rain Jacket and size 4 is a closer fit and better proportion but size 6 fits with room to layer comfortably. I bought the All Night Festival Bag Micro 2L (featured here on my LTK shop) which is a smaller size and perfect for carrying your daily essentials (phone, keys and wallet). I don’t love the larger buckle on the popular Everywhere belt bag 1L.
